Relationship Therapy

I offer relationship therapy for couples inclusive of gender, sexual, and relationship diversity and also for family members or friends (maximum of 2 clients). In 2023, I attended additional Couples / Relationship training so I could work confidently and effectively with couples and family members. This course is accredited by NCIP (National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists)

My role is to help you to develop and improve your relationship or to facilitate a respectful separation. We will work together to develop your understanding of your own and the other person in the relationship's needs, thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I use a variety of therapies to suit the issues you present and will help you make sense of what’s going on by providing the environment that enables both people in the relationship to define how things really are without things immediately degenerating into shouting, sulking and/or avoidance. I will give you equal time, understanding and attention, and support you both through what can be a challenging and emotional process.

People can enter relationship therapy due to an array of different relationship concerns, including:

  • Affairs and infidelity

  • Arguments and conflict

  • Betrayal or deceit

  • Children / family

  • Coping with a crisis

  • Exploring relationship and sexual diversity

  • Intimacy

  • Finances

  • Lost connection

  • Physical and mental ill-health

  • Poor communication

  • Pre-marital / living together guidance

  • Relationship breakdowns

  • Sexual problems
